Jay D. Benthal Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 81, Jay D. Benthal (Jackson, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay D. Benthal to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jay may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Benthal and Elaine Benthal (Dickson). He is survived by: his wife Linda West Benthal; and his children, Rhonda Phillips (Davie), Christy Gooch (Jeff) and Jeff Benthal (Christine). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests that there be no flowers sent and instead send donations in Jay's memory to the Steel Horse Prophets #709 Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association at 46 Ellendale Cove, Jackson, TN 38305 or to West Jackson Baptist Church at 580 Oil Well Road, Jackson, TN 38305.
