He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brumley Childress of Jackson; his sons, Todd Childress of Jackson, TN and Brian Childress (Melissa); his grandchild Brayden Childress of Oakfield, TN; and his sister Molly Bass of Hendersonville, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
