It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances T. Edmonson (Jackson, Tennessee), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Frances had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Frances may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy L. Tucker and Frances Digmon Tucker; her husband Dr. James H. Edmonson; and her sister Lucinda Brooks. She is survived by: her children, James D. Edmonson (Shelley) of Corinth, MS, Betsy Porter (Dwight) of Jackson, TN and Deborah Thoni (Kevin) of Orlando, FL; and her sister Hazel Hacker of Decatur, AL. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family is requesting that memorial contribution in memory of Mrs. Edmonson be directed to Aldersgate Methodist Church, 1050 N. Parkway, Jackson, TN, 38305.
