She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Scott and Lockie Scott; her former husband John Vee Scott Jr.; her husband Paul Elbert Jackson of Humboldt; and her siblings, Christine Scott Guy, J. L. Scott, Caldwell Scott, Rozell Scott, Arris Scott and Jewel Scott Hensley.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Scott (Teresa) and Steve Scott (Robin); her sister Arlou McIntosh; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Scott (Rachel), Hope Scott Newton (Aaron), Noah Scott, Alicia Scott Whear (Caleb), Aaron Scott (Julia), Isaiah Scott, Stephen Scott and Gabriel Scott. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
As an alternative to flowers the family is requesting memorials be made to the Gideons or the Hope Recovery Center in Medon, Tennessee.
