She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Herman and Katie Bell Stegall; her husband John Richard "Dicky" Day, Sr.; and her children, Susan Lea Day and John Richard "Ricky" Day, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Traci Ann Day Wallis (Harold), Robert Engels "Bobby" Day, Sr. (Margaret) and Amy Lynn Day Smith (Lane); her brother Donald Ray Stegall; and her friend Fredia Collett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House at 1520 West Poplar Avenue, Collierville, TN 38017.
