She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Mitchell and Janey Mitchell; her husband Steve; and her daughter Karen Crabtree. She is survived by: her son Mark Crabtree (Mona); her grandchildren, Lauren Evans (Jeremy), Lesley Crabtree, Landon Crabtree, Josh Hertzka (Molly), Jaret Hertzka and Jacob Hertzka (Alexandra); her great grandchildren, Layne Seaton, John Will Evans, Sunnie Hertzka and Madison Hertzka; her siblings, Don Mitchell (Nancy) and Sandra Bailey (Calvin); her niece Rebecca Twyman (Dustin, family: Caroline, Tucker, Janey Lynn); and also Bryan Bailey (Kari, family: Addyson, Ayden, Donnie Mitchell, Greg Mitchell).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
