With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwayne Buck (Jackson, Tennessee), born in Madison, Tennessee, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. D. Buck and Rachel Cornelia Franks Buck; his daughter Teresa Diane; his sister Kara Baughn; and his siblings-in-law, Don Jones, David Russom and Louise Buck.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Buck; his grandchildren, Evan Parker Kee, Abigail Elizabeth Kee (Abby) and Grant Hudson Kee; and his siblings, Louise Jones, Lisa Currin, Carolyn Russom, Myra Morris and Gary Buck.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home (403 E Baltimore St, Jackson, TN 38301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (406 Hollywood Dr, Jackson, TN 38301).
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
