He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lawson; his son Michael Dwayne Lawson (Katondra); his grandchildren, Jacob Lawson, Seth Lawson, Tyler Lawson, Araceli Lawson, Natalie Cox, Jacob Huntress and Cole Mayberry; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis, Zaydie Divine, Neva Cox, Taylor Cox, Braxton Cox, Katie Huntress and James Huntress; and his daughter-in-law Sherrie Lawson.
