She was predeceased by: her parents, Hester H. Crews and Mary Iver Wallace Crews; her husband Clarence Eugene "Gene" Elder; and her brothers, Bud Crews of Jimmy Crews and Paul Crews.
She is survived by: her son Randy Elder; her daughter-in-law Janie Elder of Benton; her siblings, Patsy Moody (Arthur), Diane Winbush (Steve) and Billy Crews (Mary "Snooks") of Jackson; her granddaughters, Rachael Blasingame and Pam Picard; her grandsons-in-law, Michael Blasingame and Jeremy Picard; and her great grandchildren, Ranen, Ashli Blasingame of Benton, Olyvia and Calvin Picard of Cabot.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ararat Baptist Church (3608 Brownsville Hwy, Jackson, TN 38301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
