She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chesley Byrd and Jennie Hodge Byrd; her husband Edward O. Jones (Ned); her daughter Cheryl Jones McKinney; her brother Khuron Byrd; and her sister-in-law Marie Byrd.
She is survived by: her son Gary Jones (Vickie); her son-in-law Dewayne "Mac" McKinney; her grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Jones (Michelle), Shannon Jones Long (Frank), Beth McKinney Froboese (John), Blake McKinney (Jennifer), Jeff Johns and Sara Johns Martin (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Jones, Brady Jones, Gracie Jones, Asher Jones, Alex Froboese, Jon Michael Froboese, Lily McKinney, Eden McKinney and Nora Martin. She is also survived by several cousins and nieces.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (3360 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305).
