He is survived by: his children, Bill Mackebee, Jr. (Betty), Kray Sloan (John) of Bethel, NC and Mimi Moran (Lou III); his grandchildren, Greer Mackebee (Sarah) of Carmel, IN, Ian Sloan of Charlotte, NC, Emily Moran Whaley (Earl III) and Lou Moran IV of Knoxville; his great grandchild Bonnie Mackebee; and his sisters, Carol Cornelius of Huntsville, AL and Ella Marie Hunter (Jim) of Johnson City, TN..
A reception was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Farragut United Methodist Church (12733 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934).
