He was predeceased by: his parents, Seborn Owens and Odea Stevens Owens; and his siblings, Esco, Harley, Lindon "Doc", Don, Geraldine and Joeldean.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Owens; his children, Scott Owens of Knoxville, Michael Owens (Alicia) of Jacksboro and Rebekah Ivey (Paul) of Jacksboro; his sister Sharon "Kay" Miller (J. C.); and his grandchildren, Harley, Jordan, Morae, Jonathan, Anna, Luke, Leighton, Milly and Haylee. He is also survived by 1 great grandchild, several family members and friends.
