He was predeceased by: his children, Rick Daugherty and Rita Jane Daugherty Branam; his parents, Abraham Daugherty and Louella Shoopman Daugherty; and his siblings, Theodore, Elmer, Lawrence, Carlos, Albert, Extol, Clifford, Abraham Daugherty Jr, Carrie Daugherty and Zora Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Daugherty of Jacksboro; his daughter Elaine L. Daugherty of Jacksboro; and his granddaughter Stacie Davis of Jacksboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
