He was predeceased by: his wife Carrie Lee Adkins (Young); his parents, Henry Buster and Edna Adkins (Bullman); and his grandparents, Mommy and Poppy Bullman.
He is survived by: his sons, Narvel Lee Adkins (Rhonda) of Jacksboro and Tim Adkins (Marie) of LaFollette; and his siblings, Clois Adkins, Chet Adkins (Arlene) of Missouri, Avery Adkins (Judy) of Caryville, Mildred Boshears of Caryville and Cleda Tackett of Ohio. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
