He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Daugherty and Milvina Daugherty (Tackett); his former wife Mary Carroll Daugherty; his stepchildren, Patricia Wells and Roger Carroll; and his siblings, Roscoe, Russell, Everette, Hyrmal, Edgar Daugherty and Zora Lindsay.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Rutherford Daugherty of Jacksboro; his stepchildren, Brenda Walden of Jacksboro and Greg Carroll (Kathy) of LaFollette; his nephews, Randy Daugherty of Jacksboro, Ricky Daugherty of Jacksboro and Gail of Jacksboro; his niece Nadine Daugherty of Jacksboro; his brother-in-law Ed Muse of Jacksboro; and his close friends, Josh Monday, Jamie Wright, Cody, Marie and Jonathan Ayers. He is also survived by five step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
