He was predeceased by: his father John Eaker; his wife Anna Marie Carter; his son Jeff Carter; and his siblings, Joe Carter, Jennie Schultz, Darlene Miller and Aqualla Walton.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Carter of Byron, Michigan and Laurie Carter of Jacksboro; his grandchildren, Shannyn, Jenna, John, Christopher and Danielle; and his great grandchild Evie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
