He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Owens and Ruth Marcum Owens; and his brother Harley Owens. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Black Owens; his children, Lisa Heatherly, Bobby Richardson and Randy Richardson; his grandchildren, Jessica Bowman, Daniel Heatherly, Natalee Heatherly, Marriah Heatherly, Brandon Richardson and Lillian Richardson; and his siblings, Everett, James Owens and Jewel Hutson. He is also survived by son Several nieces and nephews.
