He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Burchfield; his wife Aline Scalf Burchfield; his children, Hazel Burchfield and Homer Hollis Burchfield; his adoptive daughter Francis Daugherty; his siblings, Ruben Lafayette Burchfield Jr. (Sharia), Betty Nantz, Nelda Adcock (David) and Adopted; and his grandson Benjamin Marlow (Phillip Robinson).
