She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Lowell Phillips and Ray Rutherford; her parents, Clay Evans Johns and Irene Elizabeth Johns (Dyer); her grandmother Fannie Francis Dyer; and her uncle William Grant Dyer.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Phillips and Valerie Phillips Richardson; her stepson Gerald Phillips; and her grandchildren, Jody Phillips (Shannon), Vanessa Voyles (Rob) and Sarah Turner (Derek). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Helen Francis Rutherford (Johns), age 84, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
