He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Pearl Sexton Boshears and Calvin Boshears; his brother Thurston Lenore Boshears, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Patty. He is survived by: his sister Ella Leoma Patty of Racine, Wisconsin; his nephews, Thurston Lenore Boshears, Jr., James Edward Boshears (Jim) and Perry Calvin Patty; and his niece Charlotte Perry.
