He is survived by: his wife Linda Welch of Jacksboro; his children, Kimberly Welch, Jamie Waller of Nashville, Mark Welch of LaFollette, Carl Brock (Mikki) of Knoxville, Melanie Davenport (Phillip) of Columbus, Georgia and Korey Brock of Strunk, Kentucky; his siblings, Tobby Welch (Paula) and Alice Crutchfield (Jerry) of Jacksboro; and his grandchildren, Brett, Tyler, Amber, Kortney, Josiah, Noah, Jorden and Jonah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
