Donald Cowan Chadwick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Cowan Chadwick of Jacksboro, Tennessee, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Chadwick and Emma Chadwick (Blevins); his siblings, Odeva Bailey, Ethel Jean Chadwick, Thelma Louise Huey, David Glenn Chadwick and Freda Faye Daniels; and also, Melissa Reneé Medley, Barry Lynn Bailey and Donna Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Donna Louise (Chadwick), Martin (Philip) of Tulsa, OK, Donald Calvin Chadwick of Powell, TN and Dana Tyrone Chadwick (Jeannette-"DeeDee") of Jacksboro, TN; his stepsons, Gregory Wayne Bailey and Randy Joel Bailey; and his siblings, Hazel Dean Taylor, James Elmer Chadwick, Elizabeth Malisa Brown and Wanda Sue Schafer. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church (636 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powell Valley Cemetery.
