He was predeceased by: his mother Lelia Tate Banks; and his siblings, Oscar McDaniel, Mildred Phillips, Elsie McDaniel and Willie Wooten.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McDaniel; his son Trampus (Kassie) of Maryville; his brothers, Johnny McDaniel of Whitewell and Jerry McDaniel of LaFollette; his daughters, Shelia Miller (David) of LaFollette and Tonya Curtis (Tony); and his grandchildren, Tim, Celestial, Centara, Zachary, John, Alexia, Lillian and Trampus Jr..
