He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Brady Goins; his parents, William Leonard and Ella Mae Woodson Goins; and his siblings, Naomi Bayshore, Gene Goins, R. L. Goins and Don Goins.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Ballew Goins; his son Marshall (Teresa Goins); his grandson Joe (Lori Goins); and his great grandchildren, Kylie and Kade Goins. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
