She was predeceased by: her husband James Bruce; her daughter Kathleen Jackson; her grandchildren, Gary Jackson, Jason Bruce, Kimberly Stanford and Lisa Vaughn; and her parents, John Dutch Rutherford and Mary Jane Petrey Rutherford.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Byrge of Westchester, OH., Monroe (Shirley Bruce) of Tipp City, OH, Edward (Deborah Bruce), Johnny (Carolyn Bruce), Jackie (Darlene Bruce) and Roger Bruce of Rocky Top.
