He is survived by: his wife Lisa Goins; his children, Matthew Goins and Magan Goins; his brothers, Byron "Barney" Goins and Craig "Polecat" Goins; and his grandchildren, Braxton McEndree, Gavin Goins, Madilyn Goins, Eli Goins and Kayson Scott Goins. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Campbell County Memorial Garden (145 Dossett Ln, Jacksboro, TN 37757).
