He was predeceased by: his father Edward Stevens; his former wife Dorothy Stevens (Rutherford); his daughter Bonnie Jean Stevens; his grandson Corey Stevens; and his siblings, Oscar Stevens, Ocie Queener, Odea Owens, Clossie Carroll and Dena Madison.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Stevens (Monica) of Jacksboro, Nancy Lorene Stevens of Jacksboro and Darlene Joyce Kemp of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Ashton Gaylor (Cody), Trent Stevens (Whitney), Cindy Teeple and Jimmy Jenkins. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
