He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gabel Springer; his children, Roy J Springer (Jana) and Melissa Lumpkins (Michael); his siblings, Ernest and Amanda Wallace Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Jessi Gibbs, Johnny "Cody" Toungett, Samantha Wark, Brianna Lumpkins, Madison Bevis and Macaleb Smith; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Gibbs and Logan Ellis Wark.
