He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Stephenson and Ruth Stephenson; and his siblings, Jackie, Danny, Jerry Stephenson and Elise Carey.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stephenson; his daughter Selena Stephenson of Elizabeth Martin; and his sisters, Kathy Trapp, Joan Gist and Jeannie Atwell. He is also survived by Four Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren.
