He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brewer Dale; his children, David Scott Dale (Renee) and Kelly Nicole Dale Rumbaugh (Jaime); and his grandchildren, Breanna Sanders, Benjamin Sanders, Jaleigh Rumbaugh, Brittnye Adkins, Ashlee Boyd, Neeley Gooch, Layla Capron, Austin Capron and Caleb Dale.
