With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Floyd Hinton of Iron City, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Misty Kay Robbins; his stepdaughter Donna Hanback; his brothers, Gene and Jackie Hinton; his brother-in-law Jerry Reatherford; and his pet Spot.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley White Hinton; his children, Brad Hinton (Chasity), Douglas Robbins (Theresa) and Christy Hinton Mooney; his sisters, Evelyn Reatherford, Glenda Kelley and Diane Rumph; his grandchildren, Blake Marona, Cody Robbins (Brianna), Tori Hanback, Sam Hanback, Lexie Hinton and Karley Hinton; and his great grandchild Emmie Kay Robbins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Collinwood (993 TN-13, Collinwood, TN 38450). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Railroad Cemetery (125 Pleasant Springs Church Rd, Iron City, TN 38463).
