He is survived by: his wife Melinda Dacus Shepherd; his children, Lee (Cale), Jeremiah (Allison), Eli and Caleb (Crysta); his grandchildren, Malachi, Aviva, Maize, Noah, Finn and Kennely; his siblings, Lisa, Jimmy and Allen; and his mother-in-law Rhoda Rippy. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
