He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Slavens of Hurricane Mills, TN; and his sons, Josef Slavens (Melinda) of Gulf Breeze, FL, John Slavens (Kayla), Joshua Slavens (Allison) of Bon Aqua, TN and Matthew Slavens (Madeleine) of Bon Aqua, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
