He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth B. Massengill and Jewell Ruth Bishop Massengill; his grandson Aaron Sheldon Sanders; his great grandchild Levi Massengill; and his brother James Ray Massengill.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gale McEarl Massengill; his children, Anthony Max Massengill (Wanda) of Jacks Creek and Jennifer Gale Sanders of Huron; his grandchildren, Clark Massengill, Carrie Cox, Clay Massengill and McCayla Sanders; and his sisters, Joy Ruth Leath of Finger and Nell Lois Branch of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
