She was predeceased by: her parents, Polio Phillips and Mary Elsie Phillips; her husband Gerstle Chitwood; her son Johnny William Chitwood; and her sisters, Wilma Jean Phillips, Reba Bowling and Judy Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Chitwood, Jackie Chitwood (Kim), Thelma Phillips (James Edward) and Velma Phillips (Freddy); her grandchildren, Amber Dixon, Sarah Chitwood and Christopher Phillips; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Dixon and Carson Chitwood; her siblings, Annie Duncan, Josephine Bowling, Kathleen Phillips, Leroy Phillips and Arnold Phillips; and her close friends, Tammy Watters, Dean Boston, Jeanie, Christy Carson, Curt Crabtree, Jerry Carson and Wade Chambers. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
