He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. R. L. Gibson and Rose Roberts Gibson; his wife Mary Helen Goad Gibson; and his sister Liza Roberts. He is survived by: his son Michael Gibson (Jewell) of Duff, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kendrick Gibson, Michael and Coy Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Abby, Maddie and Coy; and his brother-in-law John Roberts of Norris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
