She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Lay and Emma Ford Lay; and her siblings, Arnold, Hubert, Leon, Kelly, Wilbert, Jay Lay, Dorothy and Ortha Byrd.
She is survived by: her son Mikle Lay (Theda); her grandson Michael Brandon Lay (Melinda); her great grandchildren, Makayla and Mila Lay of Sardina, Ohio; and her close friend Wilma Massengale (Bobby). She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
