She was predeceased by: her father Emmett C. Hughett; her stepparents, Marcella Hughett and Reeda Patton; her husbands, Austin C. Phillips and John McGuire; and her sisters, Phyllis Rector Marlow and Lorene Hughett Rollins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Murrell Hughett, Kay Peavyhouse and Deniece Daniels; her children, Gaya Rector Phillips (Ossie), Tony Phillips (Debbie) and Sonja Rogers (Andy); her grandchildren, Clay Rector (Heather), Grant Rector (Jera), Scott Rector (Melissa), Seth Rector (Tristin), Sam Phillips (Brandi), Daniel Phillips (Kristina) and Sarah Monroe (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Ashton Evans (William), Alex Rector (Emi), Caleb Rector, Olivia Rector, Caden Rector, Wyatt Rector, Dylan Rector, Eli Rector, Avery Rector, Brylee Rector, Abram Rector, Brody Phillips, Anna Rector, Tristan Phillips, Adelyn Rector, Emery Rector, Stevie Monroe and Desmond Monroe; and her great great grandchildren, Sarah Evans, Grant Evans and Levi Evans.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home (2889 Baker Hwy, Huntsville, TN 37756). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.
