She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Daugherty Hicks and George McGinnis; her husband Dennis Ellis; her siblings, Billy C. Parton and Lisa Rose Hicks; her uncles, Austin Daugherty and Ishmael Daugherty; and her cousins, Vince Daugherty and Brian Daugherty.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Ellis of Scott County, TN and Jody Ellis (Stephanie) of Gilmer County, GA; her siblings, Patsy Hicks of Oneida, TN, Teresa Freytag of Oneida, TN and Kenneth Wade Parton; her aunts, Wanda Terry (Dorsey) of Oneida, TN and Faye Daugherty of Oneida, TN; her granddaughter LaDawn Marion; her great grandchild Brantley Ellis; her grandsons, Tyler and Luke Ellis; her great grandchildren, Isla Ellis and Archie Ellis; and her cousin Brayden Daugherty (Tim Freytag) of Oneida, TN. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
