He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sherman and Lottie Marcum Watson; his wife Nadine Vann Watson; his siblings, Johnny Watson (Mary Helen), Junior Watson (Bertha), Glen Watson, Hattie Hatfield (Finn), Elsie Jeffers (Virgil), Alene Hutson (Joe) and Phyllis Lowe (Hank); his siblings-in-law, Leonard Kirby, Paul Vann and Juanita Ausmus; and his parents-in-law, Alvis and Ruth Lawson Vann.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Watson (Denise), Lana Selvidge (Benny), Jenny Seiber and Carla Miller (Mark); his grandchildren, Byron Byrd (Shea), Danielle Carson (Justin), Matthew Watson (Savannah), Kayla Flowers (Steven), Logan Douglas, Whitney Sieber, Shanee Dawson (Alex), Marcus Miller (Charley) and Kristin Long (Jake); his great grandchildren, Evan Byrd (Kym), Cadence Byrd, Lindsie, Millie Carson, Cooper, Grady Watson, Leiton, Byntlee, Lane, Tate Flowers, Emilee, Mason, Ella Douglas, Greyson Seiber, Kailan, Dexter, Jackson and Alyvia Dawson; his daughter Penelope Nadine Byrd; his sister Bessie Kirby; and his sister-in-law Bernadine Johnson (Jim).
