She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Harness and Emiline Bowling Harness; her siblings, Louise Harness Cross, Odie Harness, Debbie Harness, Avery Harness and Delbert Harness; her mother-in-law Marie Barnes; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Barnes Sexton, James "Bunkus" Barnes and Mike Barnes; and her niece Brandy Byrd Litton.
She is survived by: her husband Carlos Jeffers; her daughters, Misty Jeffers, Hope Tompkins (Joey) and Beth West (Brandon); her grandchildren, Adriana Tompkins, Blake Tompkins and Carlee Tompkins; her siblings, Ada West (Darrell), Quinton Harness (Becky) and Alton Harness; her siblings-in-law, Virgil Cross, Sheila Barnes Byrd (Jerry) and Will Barnes; and her caregiver Regina Sharpe. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
