He was predeceased by: his son John Harold; his brother John Allen; and his parents, Harold Durant and Lucille Durant. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Dodson Durant; his son Robert Henry Durant (Danice); his grandchildren, AnnaMarie and KayeLee; his brother Pete Durant (Becky); his sister-in-law Gail Durant; his aunt Johnnie; and his uncle David Copeland.
