He is survived by: his stepfather Allen McCammon; his wife Fay Chambers Bayles; his children, Gene Bayles, Jr. (Karen) of Indiana and Debbie Haughee (Mike) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Jordy Bayles of Indiana, Brittany Bayles of Indiana and Lillian Rose Haughee of Indiana; his sister-in-law Shirley Jeffers of Indiana; and his great-nephew Greg Chambers.
