With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Woodward of Huntsville, Tennessee, born in Winona, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Adkins and Bertha Lawson Adkins; her husband Johnnie Woodward; her siblings, Iva Lee Fraley, Bertie Mae Phillips, Joan Ealy, Jean Jones, Dennis Adkins, Glad Adkins and Todd Adkins; her son John Dennis Woodward; and her son-in-law Jerry Lay.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Woodward (Donna), Darlene Lay and Gregory Woodward; her grandchildren, Wade Muse, Mary Alice Lay, Aaron Henry, Michael Woodward, Darla Martin, Jason Lay, David Woodward, Wendy Woodward, Jonathan Woodward, Alex Woodward, Andrea Woodward, Emily Polis, Becky Morgan and Morgan Woodward; and her siblings, Wilma Martin, Paul David Adkins and Phillip Adkins. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
