He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Jeffers and Lona Jeffers (Byrd); his siblings, Dorothy Jeffers, Orpha Jeffers, Velma Jeffers, Elma Sexton and E. S. Jeffers; his granddaughter Stacy Michelle Carson; and his niece Velva Jean Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Jeffers (Hamblin); his daughters, Sandra Carson (Ronnie), Janie Brown (Mike) and Sheryl Hutchison (Allen); his grandchildren, Brandon Carson (Kelly), Sarah VanHook (Colby), Hannah Burchfield (Cody), Taylor Hutchison and Trevor Carson; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel VanHook (Zeke), Jazlyn VanHook and Jakoby VanHook; and also Virginia Harness. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
