It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Elizabeth Daughtery (Huntsville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Smith and Mable Smith; her sister Priscilla Smith; and her close friend James "Ham" Buttram. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Mcgee (Scottie), Johnnie (Melinda) and Brian Daugherty (Hallie); her grandchildren, Zackery Carroll, Sam, Logan Carroll, David, Brock Daugherty, Jon Daugherty, Ryan Daugherty, Braxton Daugherty, Lashai, Gracie, Brylie, Sofia Daugherty and Kaleb Canfield; her siblings, Ronnie Smith (Sharon), Ray Smith (Sharon), Robert Smith (Vickie), Roger Smith (Bridget), Raymond Smith, Jean Murphy and Kathy Contrell; and her close friend Janice Grundy (Wade Yancey). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
