She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Earl Brewer and Verona Mary Short Brewer; her husband Len Henry Newman; and her siblings, Carroll Larkins Brewer, Foster Earl Brewer, Jr., Courtland Thomas Brewer, Margrette Ree Bohan and Verona Edna Green.
She is survived by: her children, John Daniel Newman (Janet), Rebecca Ann Murdock (Steve) and Michael Henry Newman (Barbara); and her sister Henrietta Emmaline Adcock (Billy). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
