She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Stephens and Junie Stephens (Hogue); her husband John Mullins; and her siblings, J. C. Stephens (Brenda), Theodore Stephens (Sybil), Thelma Jones (Hulon) and Bonnie Terry (Larry).
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Lay (Jeff); her grandchildren, Logan Lay and Tyler Lay (Tori); her great grandchild Tyler Phoenix Lay; her brother Ronnie Stephens (Paula); her close friend Janice; her sisters, Christine Cheatham (Raymond), Nella Honeycutt (Avery), Jerry Massengale (Terry), Jean Bowling (Joe) and Hazel Stephens; and her nieces, Amanda Stephens, Lora Phillips and Pat Massengale. She is also survived by nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in honor of Alene in the care of Four Oaks Funeral Home P.O. Box 410 Huntsville, TN 37756.
