She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Steakley and Mattie Pulliam Steakley; and her husband Royce Payne. She is survived by: her siblings, Louis Steakley, Jr., Moon Steakley and Ruth Steakley; and her sons, Dr. Mike Payne of Murfreesboro and Randy Payne of Tullahoma.
