He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rigsby and Annie Mae Rigsby; and his son Timothy Shane Rigsby. He is survived by: his son Kane Rigsby (Amanda) of Huntland; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abbigail, Zachary, Skyler and Olivia; and his siblings, Louise Pearman of Huntsville, Earl Rigsby (Faye) of Fayetteville, Betty Weaver of Huntsville, Doris Cash of Huntsville, Faye Shook of Huntsville, Peggy Freeman (Jimmy) of Birmingham, Jimmy Rigsby (Brenda) of Huntsville and Nancy Gaye of Huntland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
